Me

My name is  Cameron Hodgeman. I grew up in South Florida and attended Auburn University. I graduated with a degree in marketing, but left with much more. I developed a passion for cooking, story telling, traveling, and photography while at school and continued to delve into each while journeying across the country.

Makenzie and Frank

Makenzie is a Wildlife Ecologist with a burning passion for adventure and conservation. Frank is our travelling companion, a 20ft, converted Mercedes Sprinter Van. Makenzie documented our travels through her instagram page @mak.cam.van. Makenzie is an educator and is always raising awareness about conservation, thus her posts aim to shed light on the numerous ecosystems stretched across our great nation.

America the Beautiful

Our journey across the country began in September of 2021, where we travelled up the east coast towards Maine and meandered back down the eastern states. In January of 2022, we embarked on our trek out west. Taking I-10 entirely across the country, we circled the west coast and great plain in a clockwise direction. Our Journey lasted a short 9 months, but our memories and excitement will last a lifetime.
